Little is known about the origins of the name. In the few known artifacts including the name, the spelling varies: Asaya, Ayasa[1], Azaya, and Ayaza.
Little is known about the development of Asaya as a mythical entity, as much of the history has been destroyed. Artifact scraps have since been posted to the internet, and while information regarding Asaya isn't readily available, it does exist on forums. In what was pieced together, Asaya is the creator of all realities, and to create life on earth, needed to seal themself in the body of a human. This body reincarnates in Cycles, with the body reborn in the following year of the cycle that the previous body was born in. It is agreed that if Asaya, in any of their incarnations, reaches a "true spiritual awakening", that all realities reset, and all matter is wiped from existence beside Asaya.
Scholars throughout the years caution Kesei religious leaders against mentioning or discussing Asaya to others. Followers of Kesei could organize cults.
