Leundafelan Anomaly Security, also known as LAS for short, is a business-government conglomerate funded by investors and tax credits. LAS is an umbrella term for several organizations, but the most notable are the operatives: anomalous humans who neutralize supernatural threats. LAS is, as the title suggests, exclusive to Leundafel. Leundafel has a vested interest in keeping information about energy (aka: magic) from their citizens.
LAS assists Leundafel with their two main goals: control of the demonic population, and expand experimental research on possible energic applications.
LAS is not a neutral organization—it exists to keep Leundafel's status quo intact, and many countries which oppose Leundafel also oppose LAS. A prime example of struggle between LAS and Leundafel's rivals is the handling of Easton.
Easton is a new and vulnerable region of Paradiso that relies on LAS to handle the burgeoning demon uprise. Nations surrounding Easton despise Leundafel's iron grip on trade and astronomical tariffs, courtesy of the recently acquired land. This, and internal dissension, led to the formation of the Tekago Liberation Front—also known as TLF. The TLF targets the LAS (specifically the operative groups) in an attempt to destabilize Easton's government.
